The drug Bevitine ampoule injection contains thiamine hydrochloride, vitamin B1. This drug is indicated in adults for the treatment of vitamin B1 deficiency, when oral intake is not possible.

The drug contains thiamine hydrochloride, a form of vitamin B1.

One 2-mL ampule of Bevitine contains 104 mg of thiamine hydrochloride, which corresponds to 100 mg of anhydrous thiamine hydrochloride.

Other components include thiomalic acid, sodium hydroxide, sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, water, and PPI.

DOSAGE:

It is prescribed exclusively for adults, with a usual dosage equivalent to 1 to 2 ampules of 100 mg per day, administered intramuscularly and slowly intravenously over 10 minutes. Your physician may prescribe higher doses.

If the dosage exceeds 2 ampoules per day, the dose should be spread over 24 hours.

Administration:

Administration of this medication is contraindicated in cases of allergy to any of its constituents. On the other hand, report to your doctor any treatments you are undergoing at the same time as the prescription of Bevitine, to avoid any drug interaction.
