Fertility, pregnancy, and lactation:
Pregnancy
In the clinical setting, a significant amount of hindsight and sufficiently large numbers of exposed pregnancies have not revealed any malformative or fetotoxic effects of vitamin C. However, no well-controlled studies have been conducted on the use of vitamin C in pregnant women. As a precautionary measure, it is preferable to avoid using LAROSCORBINE 1 g/5 mL, IV injectable solution in ampules, during pregnancy.
Lactation
Vitamin C is excreted in breast milk. There is insufficient data on the effects of vitamin C in neonates and infants. Therefore, it is best to avoid the use of LAROSCORBINE 1 g/5 mL, I.V. injectable solution in ampules, during breastfeeding.
Fertility
There are no data regarding the effects of LAROSCORBINE 1 g/5 mL, I.V. injectable solution in ampules on human fertility.
